  • Founder & Executive Director (Acting)

    Health policy and social development consultant with over a decade of experience leading strategy, research, and system transformation across public, private, and community sectors. Currently completing a PhD in Health Policy and Equity, with a focus on culturally grounded approaches to complex health and social challenges.

‘High Notes, Clear Minds’ team

  • Augustine Obeng, RSW, MSW (ITR), is a therapist, educator, and founder of Poetic Therapy. For over 20+ years, he has supported Black and Indigenous communities through trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. Blending clinical expertise, storytelling, and Hip Hop. Augustine fosters spaces rooted in healing, harm reduction, and collective growth.

    As Resident Social Worker for High Notes, Clear Minds, Augustine brings clinical leadership experience in mental health and addictions, having supervised interdisciplinary teams in hospital and community health settings. His approach blends science, cultural context, and lived experience to support informed, harm-reduction-focused conversations. Grounded in Hip Hop as both an educational framework and a healing practice, Augustine is committed to creating brave, culturally responsive spaces where clarity, accountability, and community wellness meet.

  • Rudy Ray Kwaku is a Ghanaian-Canadian artist, community facilitator, and mental health advocate whose work is rooted in the belief that culture, creativity, and care can transform lives. As a trumpeter, curator, and addictions worker, he brings warmth, lived experience, and deep community connection to his practice. Through High Notes, Clear Minds, Rudy helps create culturally grounded spaces where Hip-Hop, music, and open dialogue support cannabis literacy, mental health awareness, and harm reduction for Black and marginalized communities. His work is guided by a commitment to accessibility, dignity, and trust-building, meeting people where they are while encouraging reflection, learning, and empowerment. Rudy is passionate about developing programs that not only educate, but also strengthen belonging, resilience, and long-term community wellbeing.

  • Kwesi Jamaal is a Community Engagement Specialist with High Notes Clear Minds, where he provides leadership in community outreach, engagement coordination, and advisory council facilitation. His work focuses on building meaningful relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders to ensure programs are rooted in trust, collaboration, and lived experience.

    With a strong background in community leadership and facilitation, Kwesi has led and supported initiatives locally and globally that center connection, inclusion, and collective well-being. He is known for creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to contribute—whether through advisory councils, youth engagement, wellness circles, or cross-cultural community partnerships.

    As a Holistic Health & Wellness Coach, Kwesi brings a people-centered approach to his work, helping purpose-driven leaders cultivate resilience, clarity, and sustainable impact. His experience bridges personal development, mental wellness, and community transformation, allowing him to support both individual growth and stronger collective outcomes.

    An avid solo traveler, Kwesi draws inspiration from exploring different cultures, perspectives, and ways of living. His global experiences continue to shape his approach to community-building—grounded in curiosity, empathy, and the belief that meaningful change begins with authentic human connection.

  • Audio Engineer and Music Creative Director

    Erik Flow will stir your emotions with mesmerising verses, thought-provoking lyrics, and a magnetic stage presence. The multi-talented hip hop artist/producer brings his raw emotion and relatable storytelling to the streets of Toronto and the world at large. His words are a mirror to the human experience reflecting the struggles, triumphs, and aspirations of everyday life.

    As the originator of the now popular “Chixtape” series, Erik Flow has become known as an innovator and a true champion of hip hop culture. The launch of his independent label Kopious Records is a testament to his relentless dedication to preserving the essence of hip-hop.
